It can be daunting to decide which mix of social media is most effective at reaching existing and potential customers. According to Wikipedia, there are over 200 “popular” social networking sites and the number is growing. The key is to identify  which social media networking sites align with the interests and demographics of your target audience, at the same time remaining mindful of the time resources required to maintain a consistent, meaningful presence.

Absolutely key to the success of social media is consistent, timely deployment of dialogue.  A social media conversation calendar is efficient in that it allows the author to determine a concise content strategy, identify venues (Facebook etc.) and plan for optimal deployment based on consumer user analytics. By committing to a conversation calendar the process of implementing a strategy is simplified by insuring that posts are updated regularly.
